Just a little information to share about Reading class. We always start the week off discussing the vocabulary words and introducing the story of the week. On Monday night, your child will read the story at home to someone for homework. Tuesdays your child will either finish the vocabulary flash cards or study them if finished. They look the vocabulary words for the story up in the glossary or their reading book. These will be the words they need to study for their test. On either Wednesday or Thursday, your child will do a worksheet in class. They will take that same paper home. You are more than welcome to check it. On Thursday night, your child should bring their reading book home to reread/study for the test on Friday. Your child will have a reading test every Friday or last day of the week if there are only four days. Starting today, September 26th, your child will be able to use the book for the test. They are able to look up answers on the selection part of the test if they so choose.
