Google Workspace at School

Google Workspace is a set of digital tools that help students learn, create, and collaborate. At Falls City ISD, your child may use:
- Gmail – for school emails
- Docs – for writing and group projects
- Slides – for presentations
- Sheets – for organizing data
- Drive – for storing files online
These tools are commonly used in education because they are easy to use, promote teamwork, and allow students to access their work from anywhere. Teachers use them to assign work, give feedback, and help students develop digital skills that are valuable in today’s world.
If you have questions about how these tools are used or how your child’s information is protected, please contact the FCISD district technology office.
Google Classroom is an online platform that helps teachers manage assignments, share resources, and communicate with students. It acts like a digital classroom where your child can:
- View and submit assignments
- Receive feedback from teachers
- Access class materials and announcements
It’s designed to keep learning organized and accessible, whether students are in school or working from home.
To ensure students have a safe and secure online experience Falls City ISD utilizes Lightspeed and FortiGate filtering systems.
This allows FCISD to:
- Block access to harmful or inappropriate online content
- Monitor students’ online activity
