English and Journalism TeacherI grew up in La Vernia, TX, a small town much like Falls City. After graduating from Southwest Texas State University, I began teaching at Randolph Field. I stayed with the Randolph Independent School District for two years before moving to West Texas where I taught in the Brownfield School District for one year. From there I moved to Fort Worth and taught in Grand Prairie for five years. After having two children, Tara and Tyler, I stayed home for four years, and then I moved back to the La Vernia area where I taught for seven years. This is my first year at Falls City High School where I teach freshman and senior English. I also teach Journalism and am the yearbook advisor. Tara is currently an eighth grader and Tyler is a seventh grader. |
