I am probably the person who has the most years at FCISD since I went to school her for twelve years and have taught here for twenty-five. Wow! That means I have spent way over half my life in the school system. Because of my time spent here, I really do have Beaver Blue Blood, and I am very proud of my school. I want every student to succeed because we have the greatest kids in the whole world and we expect great things from them.
Now, a little about me. I graduated from Falls City High School (year not needed here) and went on to get my B.S. in Speech Communication and English from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos in 1980. I began working here and continued working on my Master’s degree in Speech Communication. I received that in 1982. Since then I have taught not only high school classes, but also college level classes for both Palo Alto College and Coastal Bend College in Beeville.
Besides teaching English and Speech, I am the UIL Coordinator, Forensics Coach and Drama Director.
