This page is designed to help students with available tests and what they are for. There are PSAT, NMSQT, SAT Reasoning, SAT Subject, ACT, and ASVAB. Below there are descriptions of each test.

How Am I Going to Pay for College?
Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test
The PSAT is 2 hours and 10 minute test, with scores that range from 20 to 80. These scores are used for better-informed college guidance.
SAT Reasoning Test
The SAT is a three hour reasoning test with verbal and math sections. It has scores ranging from 200 to 800. Most colleges require that this test be taken for admission. It is now required by most colleges to also take the writing portion of the SAT.

ACT Test
This is a college admissions tests required or accepted by some colleges. The new test has four areas of assessment; English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science Reasoning are the four areas. It is now required by most colleges to also take the writing portion of this test.

ASVAB
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is one of the best aptitude tests available. This test is recommended for students who are considering any branch of military as a possible career.
PLAN
The PLAN helps your son or daughter identify skills and knowledge they need to succeed in college. It identifies areas where they need extra help as well as match career areas with their interests. It also provides an estimated ACT score-one of the best indicators of readiness for college.
