A once thriving and prosperous community in the 1940s, Coy City has now slowly and silently dwindled to a quiet rural community, but still retains an urban-like presence.  Coy City is located about ten miles west of Karnes City in the western side of Karnes County.  Its coordinates are 28 49’28”N98 2’24”W and the current zip code is 78118.
